Every day, Njeri walks to a house with a borehole to buy six jerry cans of water. She uses some of the water for cooking lunch for the children and teachers. Before eating, water is used by everybody to wash their hands. After eating, they wash their hands again. After that, more water is used to wash the dishes. All day long, water is used for the toilets (for rinsing and flushing). We clean at the end of the day, again using water. Six jerry cans is just enough.
